INDIBLU CREATIVE PRESENTS AT ASSOCATION
OF FUNDRAISING PROFESSIONALS MEETING
Firm invited to speak for expertise in branding for nonprofits

Charlotte, NC – .Indiblu Creative president and creative director Kimber Flynn was invited to participate in a panel discussion at the Charlotte Association of Fundraising Professional’s meeting January 21, 2009 on the topic “21st Century Communications for Nonprofits.”

The panel discussed significant topics for nonprofits in these challenging times, such as the importance of branding, tips on building a message, and crisis communications. The event was attended by more than 100 people and was one of the most well attended meetings for the organization in recent history.

Flynn spoke as an expert on the topics of branding, brand consistency, positioning, messaging and disguised opportunities for marketing in the current economy. Presented were examples from recent materials developed by Indiblu Creative for nonprofit organizations such as Monarch and YMCA Greensboro, including PSA spots from a large awareness campaign and viral video web marketing promotion.

“I wanted to share the importance of branding within the nonprofit community and how during these times it is more important than ever to keep telling your story,” said Flynn. “An organization that uses good and consistent branding within all its spheres of influence, saves on the bottom line, creates a stronger organization and develops trust within the community.”
