Driver Jimmie Johnson includes Monarch logo on Helmet of Hope

Charlotte, NC – Monarch continues to get new exposure with its recently designed logo and name from Indiblu Design Group. The nonprofit that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance abuse issues was one of 12 charitable organizations featured on NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson’s Helmet of Hope when he won the Sprint Cup event at Auto Club Speedway Sunday, August 31.

The organization, which assists more than 3,500 people in 35 counties across North Carolina, was one of the first two selected during multiple drawings from fan nominations throughout the season.  Monarch was nominated by Pamela Johnson of Polkton, N.C. for its work with her son.  Johnson won the race while wearing the helmet and auctioned it for charity, receiving $18,000.

Indiblu Design Group created the new Monarch identity in May following months of research and consultation with the organization, which was formerly known as Arc Services, Inc.  The new name and logo have allowed the organization, which is composed of dozens of smaller entities throughout the state, to be unified in its public identity.
