Indiblu Creative Brings Valentine Fun to Monroe
Indiblu provides group home residents with a Valentine’s Day party

Charlotte, NC –On Thursday, February 11, Indiblu Creative brought a fun filled Valentine’s Day party to the residents of three Monroe area group homes: Karen Lane, Ridgefield, and Meadowview. The Indiblu team arrived with all sorts of treats for the group which gathered at the Monarch Karen Lane Group Home in Monroe to enjoy the festivities.
 
The party goers enjoyed frosting and decorating their own heart shaped cookies and filling out Valentine’s cards for friends, housemates, relatives, and their favorite Monarch staff. Each participant created a special spring butterfly decoration to take home or send to a loved one. Valentine bingo and snacks wrapped up the event which was a huge hit with the guests.
 
Kimber Flynn, President and Creative Director at Indiblu Creative, can’t wait for the next event. “We had such a great time today and look forward to the opportunity to do more. It is easy to take just a few minutes to plan and prepare a short afternoon of fun. The appreciation the people here today have shown us is incredible. I think they gave more to us than we did to them.”
 
Christy Shaver, Regional Director for Monarch, hopes that more organizations will join Indiblu. “This afternoon was such a treat for the people we support. You have no idea how much they enjoy meeting new people, trying new things, and having fun. They are just like the rest of us, but don’t always get as many opportunities. We hope that more organizations like Indiblu find ways to reach out.”
